Here is the new logo graphic and identity system for Firefly Organics, who recently wanted to update their packaging and identity system. We used very traditional and almost vintage, turn of the 1960’s tone, to communicate warmth, and in turn let go of their earlier more severe aesthetic. See the new website as well! It turned out great!

It uses a dynamic color pallet that is at once challenging to compose as a designer and remarkably memorable from a consumer’s perspective. Not all beauty is beneath the covers. Nika™ came to us this spring with the idea that skincare should be sumptuous and alluring rather than brash and borax. We thought of the eastern tradition of combining excellence with elite, rather than fashionable. The idea of using gold and soft mustard for the identity came from an early eastern relic from Russia that resembled Christian iconography.  Continue reading »

Check out the wonderful color combinations and the elegance of the steel closures with the translucent plastics, as a reflection of the radiance in youth and the transparent grace of this skincare line.
